At MK Fencing Academy, we provide structured, professional fencing training in Dubai and the UAE, with transparent fees and flexible payment options. Below is a clear breakdown of our fencing programmes, payment structure, and policies.
Fencing Class Prices and Packages – Dubai
At MK Fencing Academy, we offer transparent pricing and flexible payment options. Choose from single classes, monthly packages, or private coaching. All prices below are per fencer.

Group Fencing Classes – Drop-In
Group classes run for 60 minutes. No package required.
- Single group class: 120 AED per fencer
Monthly Group Packages
Monthly packages follow the MKFA training calendar. They run in blocks of 4 or 5 weeks. Choose the frequency that suits your level.
2 Classes Per Week
Best for Beginner and Intermediate fencers.
- 4 weeks (8 classes): 880 AED
- 5 weeks (10 classes): 1,100 AED
3 Classes Per Week
Best for Intermediate and Elite fencers.
- 4 weeks (12 classes): 1,320 AED
- 5 weeks (15 classes): 1,650 AED
4+ Classes Per Week
Best for Elite high-performance training.
- 4 weeks (16 classes): 1,760 AED
- 5 weeks (20 classes): 2,200 AED
All payments must be settled by the end of the first week of the fencing month.
For maximum flexibility, book single classes if you train once per week or travel frequently.
Private Fencing Classes
Private classes offer personalised coaching and focused development. Available for beginners, intermediate, and elite fencers.

Cancellation Policy
Private classes: Cancel by the day before at no charge. If cancelled on the same day, the full fee applies.
Group classes: Missed classes can only be made up within the same month. Make-up classes must be outside your regular package slots. Unused classes cannot carry over to the next month.
We handle illness and injury on a case-by-case basis. We will always try to find a fair solution.

Annual Membership
Membership is optional but offers discounted rates on all MKFA packages.
- Annual membership fee: 500 AED per fencer
- Valid for: 2025–2026 season (until 5 July 2026)
Membership does not cover UAE Fencing Federation registration or MKFA Épée Cup entry fees.

Equipment
All fencing equipment is provided for members and non-members. Beginners do not need any gear for the first three months.
After three months, fencers should purchase their own equipment. Browse our online shop or visit the equipment page for guidance and ordering.
There is a 100 AED charge for damaged academy equipment (swords, gloves, masks, jackets). Please handle all gear with care.

Group Class Policy
Group sessions can be taken session by session or with monthly packages. For your personal goals and needs, there are tailored packages for one month that offer convenient savings plans.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled lessons for any reason, you can only make them up within the same month and in sessions that are not part of your package. Make-up lessons cannot be carried over to future months and will be forfeited if unused.
We understand that unavoidable situations, such as illness or injury, may arise. In such cases, we will consider each situation individually and try to find a flexible solution.
It’s important to plan ahead to ensure your child doesn’t miss any fencing lessons, especially with upcoming school exams and travel plans etc. Proper planning will help maintain steady progress in their fencing programme without interruptions.
Equipment
Full fencing equipment is provided to both members and non-members.
Training outfit:
Beginner fencers are expected to have a comfortable fitness outfit (t-shirt, tracksuit pants, non-marking indoor sports shoes). All other fencing equipment is provided for the first 3 months of the programme. Subsequently, fencers are encouraged to purchase their personal equipment.
To ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants, we kindly request that all attendees adhere to the following expectations during their involvement in MKFA (MK Fencing Academy) fencing programmes:
1. Attire: Participants are required to wear the official MKFA t-shirt provided upon registration. This ensures easy identification and promotes a sense of unity among the participants.
2. Clothing: Long black tracksuit pants are the recommended bottom wear for all fencing sessions. These pants offer the necessary flexibility and protection during movements and strikes.
3. Hydration: Staying hydrated is essential during physically demanding activities. We advise all participants to bring a water bottle to the sessions and take regular water breaks to maintain their well-being.
4. Footwear: Indoor trainers or sports shoes are mandatory for all participants. Proper footwear provides stability, and grip, and prevents unnecessary injuries during quick footwork and changes in direction.
By adhering to these participation expectations, all fencers can focus on their training, develop their skills, and enjoy a positive and enriching experience within the MKFA community. Use of Academy Equipment
Fencing equipment is expensive, and MKFA is fortunate to have a reasonable amount of gear for use by its fencers. Fencers who are beginners may use the Academy equipment for the first three months, after which they are expected to purchase their own swords, glove, mask, jacket, plastron, etc. In particular, the Academy does supply electric swords for regular MKFA fencers. Electric scoring boxes, spools are available for use by all Academy fencers during Academy times. Note that the Academy equipment may only be used by Academy fencers.
Please handle the equipment carefully. If something breaks, please put it aside and inform the coach in order to be replaced. There is a charge of AED 100 for a broken sword or damaged glove, jacket, mask, etc (Academy equipment).
