Book a Fencing Class in Dubai
Train at MK Fencing Academy – Dubai’s premier fencing academy since 2002, where Olympic champions help coach our fencers. We welcome all ages and all levels, from first-timers to competitors.

What to Bring
We provide all fencing equipment. Beginners do not need to buy anything for the first three months. For your first class, please bring:
- A comfortable t-shirt (we give you an MKFA t-shirt when you register)
- Long black tracksuit trousers
- Indoor sports shoes (with non-marking soles)
- A bottle of water
After three months, you can buy your own equipment from our shop or equipment page.
Before Your First Class
You must complete a safety form (called a waiver) before your first class. This is required for everyone.
If You Want to Compete
To take part in official competitions, you need a licence from the UAE Fencing Federation.
To apply, send these documents by email:
- A copy of your passport
- A copy of your visa
- Two passport photos (digital)
- A medical certificate that says you are fit to fence
Send them to ivan@mkfencingacademy.com and copy (CC) fence@mkfencingacademy.com. In the subject line, write: Your Full Name – UAEFF Licence 2025-2026.
The fee is 200 AED for Emiratis and 250 AED for expatriates.
